The Mill Coffee Shop

Visited today for brunch and had a lovely experience overall. The café has a great atmosphere, the staff were super friendly, and the service was quick! 🥰 I ordered the Kinder & Nutella pancakes, but unfortunately they weren’t to my taste—they came across a bit cheap-tasting. That said, I think I just picked the wrong item, and I’d definitely come back to try something else on the menu!

Best avocado on toast ever!

I come here regularly, and there's a very good reason (several really) The atmosphere is awesome, the team are always welcoming and super helpful, with huge smiles on their faces! The coffee is quite honestly the best coffee around! From the cappuccinos to the iced latte's they are all blooming delicious! The reason for our visit today? Well when they post on Instagram they have fresh tiramisu croissants, me and the wife practically jumped over eachother to get to the car and get down here! Whilst we were scoffing our tiramisu croissants, we also ordered the Pesto & Sun-Dried tomato Ciabatta, and the New York Deli Ciabatta. THE BIGGEST CHEFS KISS! Again absolutely blooming lovely! We have been a numerous times and everything we have an amazing experience! It's an absolute gem of place! Get down here and try it for yourselves! You won't be disappointed. P.s the cinnamon buns are also amazing 👏

Not happy. We waited 45 minutes for pancakes and when we got them they were cold and the whipped cream had melted. Obviously had been sat out for ages. Pancakes looked ok but they did not taste good at all. Will not be coming back here.

Can't comment on the food as we didn't have any. Stopped off on a circular bike ride for a drink. Great choice, reasonable prices and friendly staff. It is on our revisit list. Thank you. Update May 2025. Have visited numerous times since my first review. This establishment continues to maintain a high standard at reasonable prices, staff are always friendly and pleasant. Bonus today, the mill wheel was in operation. Give them a visit if you are in the area😀
