Working in the area and stopped into marcello pizzaria and very happy that I did. Really lovely welcome by all at the venue, was a pleasure to chat while waiting I have to commend the ladies working here on their hard work and dedication to their craft, everything about the pizza was delicious and the Doug was incredible, if you are in the area and love pizza please stop by to show support for this family run business, keep up the amazing work ladies, I will be back again for sure

Excellent all round service. Food is hot and tasty. Shame it was let down by Kitchen staff ignoring allergy for the salad - peppers added dispute asking for none due to allergies. Witnessed order put to kitchen staff with a mention of the allergy

Atrocious Pizza. To call this authentic Italian Pizza, is an insult to every Italian man, woman and child. It even offends the animals living in Italy too which tend to eat anything they are given, except this pizza. I do not know what is worse, the pizza or the rude customer service... I am not one to complain usually but when I called to explain that the pizza had no flavour, and was just thrown together without much care, the lady on the phone took it very personally exclaiming her sister had made the pizza and her dads name was above the door. I feel bad for her dad. They should really take his name down. Anyway. They offered no resolution, and acted as if I had done something wrong for having the courtesy to call to discuss it with them, hence this review. Myself and my partner have now both been sick from this pizza. Please save yourselves the pain, not to mention the 1.5 hour wait time when promised in 20 minutes. Just order from a1 pizza instead, where they actually make italian pizza with real italian ingredients. Not some fake italian sausage and fake mozzarella. I think if they stopped scrimping on ingredients their customers might actually get to enjoy something other than cheap (non mozarella) cheese and cheap canned tomatoes, and some dough which quite frankly is of lesser quality than dominos. I would like to end this review on a positive note, however there is nothing positive to say about the worst pizza I have had in years. It was not edible. I regret eating a slice in hope it would get better. Now I wish my phone battery had died prior to ordering so I would not have had to experience such bad food. It is insulting that I even had to pay for it.

Definite authentic Italian. People are lovely. Food delicious. Coffee amazing. Can't say enough nice things.

One of the best pizza places in Bedford and always a warm welcome to what is more like a family lounge than a shop which has a nice charm to it.
