Lovely breakfast, great coffee

I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews, but unfortunately my experience was awful. I went in to order a matcha and not only did it come out looking nothing like matcha (it was basically white with no taste), but the customer service was shockingly bad. The blonde woman serving me was extremely rude, making unnecessary comments like “what do you want now” with a very dismissive and hostile attitude. She also gave me dirty looks throughout the interaction, which made me feel really uncomfortable and, to be honest, it felt borderline discriminatory. Definitely won’t be returning. Very disappointed.

Thankfully I don't need to visit somewhere to leave a review. How can you justify charging more for the Vegan breakfast when there are fewer items on it. Why penalise those with different dietary requirements.

Breakfast was amazing! Came to this cafe as I was working in the area and I will definitely becoming back. Lovely decor, friendly staff and the breakfast was amazing. I tackled the big breakfast which was a very generous size with 2 of everything and all tasted so good. Had a little room left for some cake which there is plenty to choose from. Coffee was on point too. Thank you to all the staff working today you made my morning! 🫶🏻

10/10 The best cafe I’ve ever been to. The cook did a brilliant job on our Full English breakfast. Sam did an amazing job on making our drinks, nailed it to a T. Brilliant service from Claire made us feel very at home and the atmosphere in there is amazing and is decorated lovely.

Tried here for the first time and it was really nice. Great service, delicious food. Highly recommend.

Had lunch here and was not disappointed. Food was fantastic and fresh coffee was lovely. Our customer service was so good sam was efficient really knowledgeable so warm and friendly we will definitely be back

Really good, friendly people, Wooden Hill Coffee and the Sausage Roll was spot on. Always good to support a small independent too.
