We look forward to welcoming you to The Higgins Pantry sometime very soon.

We are husband and wife – Vincenzo & Rosanna, and we have created The Pantry as a result of our life long passion for food and an ambition to create an informal and unique menu and setting – a place that we would want to frequent whether it be for a cup of tea and fresh cake, a light lunch or an evening meal.

In the heart of the buzzy Castle Quay area, alongside the River Ouse, our menu offers delicious Italian cuisine using fresh ingredients sourced locally as much as possible. With strong southern Italian influences throughout and together with our warm welcome, service and atmosphere we hope your experience will be one to remember. Our Italian style tapas is a must try.

Being an independent restaurant & café and family run we are passionate about The Pantry. We hope you will share our enthusiasm for the food and drink we provide in a wonderful setting for any occasion.

Honestly the best night ever last night there was a singer that kept the atmosphere up and the staff were amazing it was packed out but honestly one of the best nights out not if your looking for a quiet night but defo the atmosphere has fantastic Very much recommend this place and the waiter didn’t get his name so so good Food was great and staff on point ☺️

The lady could not get off the phone fast enough! "If you look on the menu online there are 2 menus lots of gluten free and vegan options ok ok bye bye bye". Of course I looked first before taking her prescious time ! Only the Xmas menu noted, could not see the other one ??? Can't comment on the food as we never made it due to not finding the Regular menu! So the party of 12 cannot book. Bye Bye Bye ok ok Many thanks FYI ONE CANNOT BE TOO CAREFUL WITH ALLERGIES HENCE PEOPLE NEED TO SPEAK TO THE THE STAFF TO BE SURE OTHERWISE PEOPLE CAN DIE. Sorry to have taken your time. I do hope you understand

Pizza was fantastic, my partner got gluten free and it was by far the best gluten free pizza base she’s ever had, the texture of the base was spot on, it was almost identical to my regular pizza. Will definitely be going back. Really good price, £23 for two pizzas
