This has been the loveliest tapas experience I’ve ever had. Such a personable and knowledgeable bartender who recommended a cocktail drink for me based on my preferences. We had lots of tapas and it was all so good - the lamb was genuinely the best lamb I’ve ever eaten in my life. Would highly recommend this lovely restaurant to eat - 10/10 service! Will definitely be coming again!

Possibly the best restaurant in Bedford. Food was exceptional and authentic, with reasonable portion sizes, cocktails were delicious. We spent £135 for tapas, cocktails and dessert for 2 people for a very large order. The service was great and the bar manager in particular spent some time talking to us about the rums they use and getting to know us. We felt really well looked after. Atmosphere was nice and open but felt inspired and authentic. Not too loud, but not deathly quiet either. The staff recommended 5-6 dishes between the two of us, we had 9 dishes as we couldn’t decide! Portion sizes were more than enough and we were absolutely stuffed by the end despite me being a big eater. We ate: Bread, Padron Peppers, Patatas Bravas, Chilli Prawns, Pork Croquettes, Chorizo, Chicken Skewers, the Bavette Steak and the Ribs special - the ribs in particular were great, as were the chorizo, potatoes and croquettes. Dessert we had churros and ice cream. We drank: Calido Mai Tai, Red Sangria, Passionfruit Mint Condition (mocktail), Jungle Juice (mocktail) - all were great, strong alcohol but still fruity.

The most mouthwatering Spanish food I have ever had! The prawns were INSANE, the crystal bread was delicious, the Goat’s Cheese & Spinach Croquettes were to die for! & WOW that Pork Paella with homemade stocks was out of this world! I felt like I was in Spain :) With beautiful views across the river this really is the perfect spot for a date, friends, family, birthday or even a work meeting!

A Taste of Spain Just Down the Road We have parents who live in Spain and visit frequently, so when a Spanish restaurant opened just 20 minutes away, we knew we had to try it. The staff were incredibly friendly, and many were native Spanish speakers—it was wonderful to hear them conversing in Spanish, which added to the authentic atmosphere. The team assigned to our table was attentive and welcoming. Foxy, behind the bar, provided excellent drink recommendations and demonstrated impressive knowledge. Tean was super friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. We opted for a selection of dishes, and our only regret was not having room for more. We will definitely be returning!

Thought we'd try Fuego as we saw it was new in Bedford and it didn't disappoint! The bartender was amazing, really knowledgeable on his beers and cocktails and made the BEST Mai Tai I've had in a long time. He also recommended some great beers to my fiancé. The food was delicious, particularly the lamb, croquettas and salmon. We got 6 dishes between the two of us and we were plenty full. Service was also very swift considering how busy it was at 20:30! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating considering they were rushed off their feet. We'll definitely be back!
