Blue Glass

Here at Blue Glass we are an independent wine bar, as well as a wine and spirits merchant situated on St Peter’s Street in Bedford.

Our range of wines on the shelf represent around 15 countries including the UK, Europe, Far East , Australia and countries in between. We also have an online shop where you can purchase wines and spirits, and we offer a next day delivery service within a 5 mile radius of BlueGlass, as well as a free click and collect service during our opening hours.

Our Wine Bar

At Blue Glass, our wine menu features 24 different bottles from all over the world, to enjoy by the bottle or the glass. For those heading out for a special occasion, we also offer a Special selection Choice which features some very special wines.

Don’t see anything you fancy? For an added £8 corkage fee you can drink-in any bottle from the shop. If you can’t finish the bottle while you’re here, we will put a cork in it for you to take home with you.

Yes, wine is our speciality, but we also offer gins, whiskeys, sherry and cognacs.​ We offer a large selection of 30 single malts in the bar including Scotland, Ireland and Japan, all available by the 35ml nip. It’s the perfect way to try before you buy!

Fancy a cigar with your whiskey? We have a hand picked selection of cigars available in the bar to smoke in our terrace area or take home.

Our food menu is perfectly crafted to match our extensive range of wines. Treat yourself to warm, fresh ciabatta with French brie, English cheddar, and Spanish Serrano ham. Our cheese, meat and mixed boards are to share. Not too hungry? There’s always baked Camembert, olives, nuts, bread and dipping oils.

As well as wines, we also stock a hand picked selection of spirits, including Gin (featuring the award winning Sky Wave Gin from Oxfordshire and local producers Saragusta Spirits from Buckden), Vodka, Rum, Cognac, Whiskey and everything in between.
