The Cappuccino bar is a traditional Italian restaurant situated in Newnham Street, Bedford, next to the old Peacocks auctioneers!

With it’s relaxed and intimate atmosphere it is the ideal setting for any occasion, whether it is romantic meal for two, a dinner with family or a lively celebration you have in mind. We also cater for parties big or small and have disabled access. Sit in the restaurant or in the Italian style covered courtyard.

We serve freshly made food, made to your liking and provide for dietary requirements! Whether you are planning a birthday, christening, wedding, office party or a charity event we will be happy to discuss you requirements to ensure that your event is a success!

Great experience with the family at the Cappuccino Bar. Lovely Italian food with a variety of options available, which I would recommend to anyone 💯 Great hospitality and service provided with a relaxing and friendly atmosphere 👌🏽 Delicious selection of food, drinks and desserts 👍🏽definitely an enjoyable place to dine either with friends or family.

Visited Saturday 7th December for lunch to celebrate my partner's birthday. Lovely staff, didn't have to wait long for food. The pasta dishes we ordered were delicious and the garlic bread was lovely and cheesy. The free wine with the meal was a good tasting wine and the tiramisu was YUM! Definitely on our list of places to come again

Since the change in ownership, this once lovely restaurant has sadly gone downhill. Ordered pizza, and it had too much tomato sauce and cheese and a soggy base, so I didn't enjoy it - it definitely was not an authentic Italian pizza where you can taste the fresh ingredients. However, despite previous bad comments, the service could not be faulted. The restaurant was only half full on a Saturday night.

The food is excellent, however service is very slow. We had a very long wait. All orders should go in together they won't take partial orders. We ordered the calzone(chicken and mushroom) and a few more dishes, and it was amazing. The food is a hit.
