The team at The Bedford Guide took a trip to Chicken George Jnr, the newest Chicken restaurant, take-away and sports bar in Bedford to try out their new Menu and couldnโt have been more impressed

Chicken George Jnr in Bedford is the 4th in a successful micro chain of Chicken joints after Luton, Hitchin and Barton-Le-Clay. The popped along to a preview evening to check out the new venue and taste their popular menu.
The Vibe at Chicken George


The styling inside the restaurant is great. Itโs modern street art and gives the whole place a really youthful, fresh feeling. Graffiti art decorates the walls and neon writing makes gives the whole place a great vibe.
Sports Bar

Chicken George Jnr in Bedford is more than just a restaurant and take away, itโs a sports bar. Large screen TVs are jotted around the entire venue showing a variety of live sport. We can only imagine how good the atmosphere would be on a big fight night or six nations rugby game.

As youโd imagine with a place called Chicken Georgeโฆ itโs all about the chicken. And oh my, do they know how to do chicken!The menu has everything from Jumbo Strips to Brugers & Wraps and of course, their famous Wings. There are loads of flavours and options available to ensure there really is something for even the most particular chicken fan. The Mango Rubicon wings really are a thing of beauty!
The Sides

Like any good chicken spot, the devil is in the detail. Chicken George Jnr is no different. The sides have been perfectly chosen to accompany their signature chicken dishes and make sure that no one leaves the restaurant hungryโฆ although we canโt promise you wonโt leave desperate to come back
So itโs safe to say, if you are a fan of chicken, you are going to love the newest addition to Bedfordโs chicken scene. Fresh flavours and cool styling make it a fun place to visit.
