Calling all art lovers! Get ready for a vibrant summer in Bedford as the 17th International Bedford Festival Fringe arrives! From July 18th to 28th, the town will be buzzing with over 160 events spread across 11 exciting days.
This year, The Quarry Theatre will be the central hub, hosting a diverse program of comedy, theatre, live music, film, dance, spoken word, and poetry. Whether you’re a comedy buff, a theatre enthusiast, or simply looking for a fun family outing, Bedfringe 2024 has something for everyone.
Here’s a sneak peek at some highlights of this year’s Bedfringe:
- Frankenstein (On a Budget): The hilarious Lamphouse Theatre returns with their brand new show, a budget-friendly take on the classic tale (July 20th & 21st).
- Comedy Debut: Acclaimed comedian Justin Moorhouse brings a sneak peek of his Edinburgh show, “The Greatest Performance of My Life” (July 20th).
- Cartoon Exhibit: Don’t miss the captivating cartoon exhibition featuring works by James Mellor and Clive Goddard. Meet the artists themselves on July 20th & 21st!
- Music Extravaganza: Immerse yourself in the largest music program ever at Bedfringe! From Beatboxer- BeatFox to Michael Greene and The Moggies Band, there are free and paid options to suit your taste.
