We held our Works Christmas Party at After Hours last week. What a great place this is. Claire was amazing in the build up, keeping in constant contact to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a very reasonable price to hire the venue exclusively. My team has an amazing night, the bar staff were great and never a long wait for a drink. Thanks to everyone at After Hours for hosting us ❤️

I wanted a different place to celebrate my 50th birthday party. The gorgeous velvet furniture, very nice bar area was just what I was looking for. The DJ was brilliant he got everybody on the dance floor the bar staff were fabulous and helpful. Claire communicated well with me and made me feel at ease regarding drinks and decorations. I would recommend this venue if you want something different with a good vibe, it’s a little gem on a nice street.

Claire and the staff were absolutely fantastic. Claire was very communicative throughout our journey from us enquiring about private hire down to the finer details of our party night. The team of bar staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful. On top of that, the DJ was brilliant and really knew how to keep everyone on the dance floor. Highly recommend this venue.

Went to a private party here last month, I wouldn't recommend hiring for private parties. It's a small enough establishment that there was a good atmosphere. But people off the street were able to come in and join us. My friend on a few occasions had to ask strangers to leave. Staff didn't seem like they knew what they were doing, it seemed like it was their first night working there. For example, we asked for a cocktail from the menu and had to abandon this as it was taking so long. Instead, we settled for a bottle of preseco. We helped our friend set up food at the start of the night with a broken table, which she has lost her deposit for as the manager has reported was broke by us. From my understanding, the manager has been quite difficult. I'm not sure what is going on with this place but I recommend giving it a miss for private hire.

Was really hoping for this place to be amazing as Bedford hasn't many cozy cocktail bars, but 7.50 for 6 chicken strips.. the cocktail was average two for 10 I would pay but if it was outside the deal I wouldn't be paying that for one, offered complimentary popcorn which had no flavouring to it, to discover it had suger just put ontop which had fallen to the bottom of the bowl
