Great range of beers and other drinks. Good prices. Shuffleboard was fun but felt cramped particularly with closeness to the dartboards and as place filled for sports with tables close by and TV over the shuffleboard. Also reserved table for watching sport, but layout of TVs is appalling and won't visit to do that again
My wife and I decided we would call in to see if Brewpoint did breakfast, as we had never been in the morning before. They did, so we both ordered Brewers Brekkie. My wife had a latte, and I had a decaf flat white.
Well, we were expecting a luxury breakfast and a quality drink each, but unfortunately, everything was wrong. Both breakfasts were on the cold side, both eggs had hardly touched the pan and could only be described as pure snot/smeg eggs, plus the breakfast was ruined by having most of a pot of black peppercorns thrown all over the whole plate.
Then there were the coffees. The latte had scolded milk and had a very funky taste, so my wife left most of it, and my decaf flat white only tasted of scolded milk, not a wiff of coffee at all.
To top everything off, I used the toilet before leaving, and I followed a member of the kitchen staff into the toilet, who went for a pee in his gloves and then returned to the kitchen without washing his hands!!
I have to say this was not a good first experience at all, and the only reason I gave 2 stars was for the lovely lady serving and the quality of the venue.
