Chicken George Bedford is the latest branch is a family-run business that has been established since 1985. In that time they have set the standard for exceptional service and quality which resulted in us being the first Fast-Food establishment to be awarded the ‘5 STAR Rating in Hygiene’ by Luton Borough Council.

Many of Chicken George’s products are homemade and prepared freshly onsite every day by their experienced and highly-trained staff. All of the chicken used in their Rolls, Wraps, Kebabs, Nachos and Bites are 100% chicken fillet breast pieces. This along with our succulent chicken on the bone is coated in their unique and secret blend of herbs and spices which gives their chicken that great taste!
The Chicken George signature menu ranges from the classic ‘2 pieces of Chicken & Chips’ meal for one to their great value Meal Deals and Family Packs which cater for larger numbers. Included in this they also have Chicken Rolls, Wraps and Boneless Chicken.

Chicken George Bedford is famous for their BBQ Ribs and Spicy Wings which come coated in their secret homemade BBQ sauce.
As an addition they also offer great tasting side dishes such as Garlic Mushrooms, Onion Rings, Corn on the Cob, Salads, homemade Coleslaw and Chicken Sauce. You can also try unique alternatives such as Mexican Wedges, Chicken Nachos and homemade Chicken Satay.

Unusually for a Chicken shop they also offer our customers a delicious selection of desserts including Chocolate Fudge Cake, Giant American Cup Cakes, Cheesecake and Belgian Chocolate Shortbreads.

The food has really been going downhill for a few years now but I don't think I'll go back again. Last time I had the blue cheese dip it was quite nice, a strong blue cheese flavour, now there was basically no taste other than a mild creaminess, nothing cheesy about it at all. The jumbo strips are not jumbo, they're quite small, overcooked and had a unpleasant crispiness. The best way I can describe it is it felt like I was crunching on ceramic and it felt like my teeth would break from it. Food came out in maybe 10 minutes and based on what I got it gives me the impression nothing was really cooked to order other than maybe the fries. The tv's are quite loud and remind you that this is more of a sports bar than a restaurant. The waiters are friendly.

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed Chicken George. My boyfriend was blown away by the mango rubicon wings and has been saying all night they're the best wings he's ever had and he's definitely had a lot of wings🥲 I would like to add that the wonderful woman who greeted us upon entry has fantastic customer service. Incredibly warm and welcoming, i wish I'd gotten her name. But each time she popped over I genuinely felt she cared about her job and believe she's an amazing woman inside and outside of work!
