Deshi Spice Restaurant

Deshi Spice opened our doors in 2012 at the heart of Tavistock Street, the main centre of Indian Cuisine in Bedford. Our love for great food and hospitality is something that Deshi Spice has always embodied. The good things in life – friends, family and great food is what defines us.

The dishes have been carefully chosen to showcase the very best in Indian cuisine. Many of the dishes are homemade recipes passed down from generations with the same recipe’s still being used to cook for family members to this day.

Our menu also include some contemporary signature dishes that you won’t find anywhere else and we welcome you to experience a truly authentic, Indian dining experience at it’s best!

Highly recommend!! This is the first time we have ordered and we had it delivered. I have to say the food was amazing and full of flavour, I have not got a negative thing to say at all. Food was delivered within the time scale given and was still piping hot. I’m not a big eater at all (until tonight), everything was fresh tasting and the lamb was so tender. We have an Indian in the village and this restaurant is heads and shoulders above it. Will definitely be ordering again and look forward our next treat night.

Very poor curry , chicken tikka over cooked and hard, curry it’s self was ok but rice was over cooked and mushy , naans were stodgy, Won’t be ordering again.

Waiters are very helpful, and have worked there a long time. I always get a hot plate, which is a good start. The temperature of the food is usually hot, although can be just warm if you are in a big group, but that applies to most restairants. The flavour of the food is amazing.
