Welcome to Don’t Get Locked In, Bedford’s No1. Escape Room as voted on TripAdvisor for Fun and Games in Bedford.

Located in the heart of Bedford, we have 7 (soon to be 8) different family friendly escape rooms, offering something for everyone.

Currently, 7 escape room games to choose from – games which we’ve designed for adults/young adults (60 mins long):
The Secret Hut
The Vault
Extortion
Gin & Panic
120 min game Audacious, again designed for adults/young adults and the only one in Bedfordshire.
Big Trouble at Christmas! 60 min game designed for younger children from 6 years old with adult guidance or suitable for adult beginners who want an easy fun room to start with.

We are proud to say that we design and build our own games.

Why is this important?

Well, you can be sure that you will never play one of our games at another escape room. You can also be sure that our rooms are completely unique. We don’t buy in games or puzzles, we painstakingly design and build everything ourselves, it takes longer and uses more grey matter but is so much more satisfying and great fun going through the design process.

In addition to our popular rooms, The Lock In Lounge, described as ‘simply the best’ by some of our customers, our room themed cocktails are a refreshing twist on some traditional recipes. The Secret Hut is based on the classic ‘Sex on the Beach”, whilst our Return to The Rock Cocktail is a take on the WooWoo.

First timers doing an Escape Room. We did Return to the Rock. Granted we didnt finish it (only 1 code away). Very fun. Definitely going back to try other rooms. Thanks to Hugo for his help explaining the experience and some hints during the game.

Brilliant experience. Excellent rooms, which are so well thought out. Staff are such a laugh & explained what we did, like in an analysis of where we went right or wrong. This is my 2nd visit & can’t wait to try a different room. Also go to The amazing Cellar bar on the Bedford high street, it’s linked to this escape room, & it’s a fab place, sadly didn’t have time to have an evening there this time, but stayed for 1 & loved it there. Would love to return. Xx

Great rooms and really attentive staff. Highly recommend. Tried the Chirstmas room with my 10 & 12 year old as their first escape room. We all found it challenging but not too difficult so we had a great time and the girls are now hooked!

We had a great time escaping the Extortion room, Cathy was our fantastic host and was so friendly and explained everything so clearly. I really loved that Cathy took the time to walk us through the room and puzzles afterwards, I haven't been to an escape room that has done this before so loved this more personal touch.
