Herrings Green Farm

I booked a falconry experience at Bottisham where the team bought a few of the birds for a flying and handling experience. Thought it would be nice to visit and see the birds they have. The flying shows were amazing, the staff were lovely and you can tell how invested and passionate they are with the birds. They're all beautiful and I fulfilled a dream of being up close and personal with a red kite, but several ❤️ it really was a great day out, big thanks to Sarah for answering my questions and letting me keep a kite feather 🪶 , would recommend going here for the day. Thanks very much 😀

We had 3 hours today in Colchester at the kings arms with some of the amazing birds, it was great to be able to hold the birds and learn so much about them, the keeper was amazing and she did an amazing job, she was funny, informative and basically just lovely x thank you for a lovely afternoon getting to know your birds x Sarah & Claire x we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

Just back from an epic day at the Herring Green farm. My family and I had booked my husband an eagle experience which I would highly recommend. The falconer Erin was fantastical she took time to show us so many of the eagle and some eagle owls. My husband held and flew the massive beautiful birds and really enjoyed his experience. We had young children with us and there was lots to play on and keep them amused. All staff were very welcoming and friendly We went on a Sunday and it was very quiet which was perfect for us to look around.

Nice place with many animals and opportunity to purchase some farm stock..

Fairly run down. The bird handling experience was good, as was the flying display. But the place in general looks a bit sorry for itself, lots of disrepair noticeable. Wandering around the activity farm felt a bit sad.

Brilliant day out at Herring Green Farm. Everyone nice to me and my wife! Young girl in cafe was especially nice. I would certainly recommend this establishment to everyone planning on visiting! Thanks for your hospitality Herring Green staff!

A special experience with the birds of prey. Carly was excellent and ensured everyone had equal time with each bird even though there were quite a few in the group. Definitely recommend .
