Had my hair done by Kelly again today and I’m super happy! Followed her advice with regards to grey coverage last time and it has been so much better…new growth blending in well and lasting lots longer! She’s a lovely bubbly person and a stylist who knows what’s she doing!! The other staff are friendly, smiley and kept me topped up with tea and coffee > had a few hours of doing absolutely nothing so that was just the cherry on the cake!!

Have been coming here for over 10 years and have always left salon very happy! Maria is a very sensitive stylist who listens to what you want. She’s also extremely skillful and so fast!
I used the online system to book a basic cut and blow dry for 17th August and paid a deposit. I was contacted by the salon on 10th August who let me know that the stylist I’d booked with no longer worked at the salon and I could either keep the appointment but with a different stylist and have to pay a much higher price, move my appointment, or have my deposit refunded. I requested to have my deposit back and was told this would take 3 or 4 days. Almost 3 weeks later, on 30th August, I contacted the salon again as my deposit had not been returned as promised. I spoke with someone who could see that there was money on my account, and promised to get the manager to call me by the end of the day. Unsurprisingly, I’ve had no call from the manager or anyone else for that matter. It’s now been 4 weeks and I’ve had no refund, no contact from the salon and, frankly, I am disgusted by the lack of customer service I’ve experienced. I won’t be using House of Hair again.

They have now said because I left them a bad review they no longer wish to correspond with me or offer any refund or solution.
Absolutely ruined my hair!
I had been dyeing my hair with black box dye for about 4 years but decided I wanted to go to a more medium brown.
My hair was fully bleached by House of hair Bedford 3 times within 4 months, leaving my hair so damaged and broken!
I put all my trust in them as I have no experience with hair. I used every shampoo, conditioner and mask they recommended but nothing could fix the damage.
My hair has been continuously snapping ever since February 2024.
In total I must have lost 10inches + of hair.
I contacted House of Hair on Instagram where I was given an appointment with the company owner Drew.
I later explained on Instagram how urgent this issue was to me and how much money I have put into my hair and this company (over £1,500) however I was called unkind and had my appointment taken away from me? Which felt like a punishment for expressing my unhappiness in their service.
I then received petty, unprofessional and quite rude messages from them.
I was told to contact their company email, which I did however they still continued to message me petty remarks on Instagram.
I stated in my email I would happily show any Instagram messages that had been exchanged to prove I was not rude.
Less than 5 minutes later their instagram messages were deleted? Funny that.
I urge everyone to think before booking in with this salon.
My hair is ruined, it has cost me a fortune and when I’ve sought help I have been met with petty, cocky and unhelpful remarks.
I have attached some images. One is my long hair before any appointment with House of Hair the others are the breakage I have been left to deal with.

Can’t thank Libby enough for transforming my hair this week! She knew exactly what I wanted and managed to transform my dull hair to a bright blonde in just one appointment. Can’t recommend her enough, will definitely be back :)

Emily gives excellent service every time and gives the best haircut I've had. Never makes you feel rushed out the chair and she is always so cheerful and friendly. An asset to this salon!
Had my hair done before going on holiday, the cut was nice but not exactly what I wanted. I have had highlights that turned out very faded, been advised by the hairdresser to wait before I decide on adding more highlights after my holiday. Came back to have it added and been told I have to pay £50 again, shame because I’m not coming back to a place that is trying to rip me off but the hairstylist was actually nice.
