Methi Bedford

Ordered some food after having a lovely meal in Cranfield. Delivery was prompt and the food piping hot which was a great start. However the food was disappointing. Both curries lacked any flavour and were both quite bland.The tender pieces of lamb were not tender and were tough and chewy. It seemed more like lamb tikka. The saag paneer was quite sloppy. On the plus side the poppadoms and veg samosas were nice. The most surprising thing and hottest dish was the peri chips. They really did have a kick. Far too hot for my daughter who likes peri chips.

It was our first time using this takeaway restaurant. Food was delicious and hot to which counts for a lot . Friendly delivery driver .. this will be our go to now for delicious authentic Indian food 👍

Friendly staff and excellent food! Food was flavourful and portion sizes were generous for the price. Using onion bhajis as an example, they were perfect, full of flavour and not oily at all, which is very rare.

Ordered a takeaway of kebab, biryani, and grilled chicken from Methi Bedford and it turned out to be a perfect combination of flavors! The kebab was well-seasoned and juicy, with a great smoky flavor that came through in every bite. It had a slight char on the outside, giving it that delicious crispiness, while staying tender on the inside.The biryani was aromatic and rich, with each grain of rice perfectly cooked and infused with spices. Altogether, this was a great takeaway experience. If you're in the mood for a mix of spice, aroma, and a little bit of smoky char, this combination of dishes hits the spot!

I recently tried the doner kebab and biryani at Methi Bedford and it was an absolute delight! The doner had just the right balance of spice and flavor-nicely seasoned and with a kick that didn't overwhelm the taste. Each bite was juicy, with the spices lingering in the best way. The biryani was equally impressive— fragrant, fluffy, and flavorful. The rice was perfectly cooked and infused with spices, creating a delicious aroma. Wow for value for money. New local restaurant finding its feet but enjoyed, warm, attentive service from our charming waiter who warned us about the large portions so no need to over-order. Great food. No complaints. Looking for a tasty meal that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, Methi is a good bet. Warm, and cosy listened to a mixture of traditional and contemporary music too.

We got the set meal, which was three large curry's, two rice, starter and naan. And honestly this is the best curry I've had from a takeaway in bedford. The chef came out an said let me know if there's any issues, I've put my heart into it. That tells you something about a place. I wish I'd taken some pictures. Highly recommended.
