It was my first time since having new owners. Great bar staff and they were very welcoming. The food was very nice and good portions and we met Frank the pub dog. I will definitely be visiting again.

I experienced some disapointing incidents here. Long wait times with no staff to be seen around the bar. I also found out that staff members are not given shifts as contracted, experience frequently poor communication and management are constantly sending staff home due to poor rota planning. I found out that a member of staff was leaving and there was no recognition, thanks or time given to successfully sign that member off, including a lack of P45. Overall, managment quality seems to be poor and I will not return now I am aware of how staff are treated.

Fantastic little village pub, the new management seem fantastic and although I only popped in for a pint, I was treated to a sausage roll and scone by Kyle, a quick pint I will never forget, best decision I ever made! If only I lived a bit closer, I'd be in every week! Great garden area for the summer. Thanks again
