We look forward to welcoming you to The Higgins Pantry sometime very soon.

We are husband and wife – Vincenzo & Rosanna, and we have created The Pantry as a result of our life long passion for food and an ambition to create an informal and unique menu and setting – a place that we would want to frequent whether it be for a cup of tea and fresh cake, a light lunch or an evening meal.

In the heart of the buzzy Castle Quay area, alongside the River Ouse, our menu offers delicious Italian cuisine using fresh ingredients sourced locally as much as possible. With strong southern Italian influences throughout and together with our warm welcome, service and atmosphere we hope your experience will be one to remember. Our Italian style tapas is a must try.

Being an independent restaurant & café and family run we are passionate about The Pantry. We hope you will share our enthusiasm for the food and drink we provide in a wonderful setting for any occasion.

Pizza was fantastic, my partner got gluten free and it was by far the best gluten free pizza base she’s ever had, the texture of the base was spot on, it was almost identical to my regular pizza. Will definitely be going back. Really good price, £23 for two pizzas

It was so great to find a place my friends and I could all eat. We're all vegan, but 2 of our party are also celiac, and one can't have garlic or onions. The chef was very professional and understanding, and we all enjoyed our meals.
