Love the place, everything about it works, a very tough course with great people,
Me and my friend played here on Saturday 5th July. We were really surprised by all the positive reviews online.
We both thought it was really overpriced for what it was (£60 for a visitor).
The facilities were poor. You are not allowed to use woods or driver on the Driving Range because it is not long enough. It also has a large un-netted section on the left so any miss-hit balls then go onto one of the holes.
Many of the holes have shared greens which is just annoying and leads to people waiting longer to play.
It is one of the most dangerous courses I have played. So many of the fairways are so close together. For example on the 2nd tee your fairways is sandwiched between two others. It's absolute chaos with other players on others holes constantly crossing or playing off of your fairway. I've never heard so many fore shouts in one day.
On one of the holes there is a sign warning you that the car park is in range, and that you should not hit a club that could reach this distance or you will be liable for any damage caused. Another obvious sign that the course is too compact and has a bad layout.
The guys in the proshop were really nice and friendly and the staff could not be faulted. Just a shame the course was such a let down.

A good course with some interesting holes.
Played here the end of June after a very long dry spell.
The course does not have fairway sprinklers and as a result the fairways are getting badly burnt and are rather sparse in places.
The greens however were pretty receptive and gave a true roll and were in a really good condition but were much slower than the putting green, but this is probably then being left with a longer cut to protect the putting surface.
It's a parkland course situated in amongst mature trees which make it really nice on the eye and would no doubt be better with the fairways being greener.
The course has some good challenging holes which require tactical play but the fairways on the driving holes are wide and give you chance to rip one with only a few hazards for the longer hitters.
The staff were very friendly and there was a pretty good variety of food in the bar.
The club has a practice range up to a couple of hundred yards long and balls are a bargain price.
There's a small chipping area and separate putting green to get in a bit of practice prior to your round.
Overall a nice little course and would happily play there again.

Course was beautiful, greens in great condition despite the terrible weather definitely worth playing when thinking other local courses were shut and Millbrook still played very well

We played 18 holes today at Millbrook Golf Club after booking through golf now. The course was in very good condition, especially considering all the rain we've had recently. The fairways and the greens were in exceptional condition, and we had a great round of golf. Afterwards we went to the clubhouse for a drink and found the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend this golf course.

First time here and loved it. Great course. Some real testing holes...dog legs and raised greens. reasonable prices and friendly staff. Petrol buggies help with getting up and down the slopes. We will definitely visit again.
