Was super excited to come back here a second time but unfortunately had a horrible experience. I made a mistake reading the menu and ordered a breakfast croissant however I didn’t realise it came with ham and I can’t eat ham because of my religion. When I told the owner I’m really sorry but I can’t eat it because of this, all he did was blame me rather than try rectify the mistake even though I kept apologising. He repeated that it was my fault I read it wrong and he didn’t offer to change it. After a few minutes of awkward waiting he said he can take the ham out but there will still be traces of it in the croissant. He did not offer to bring a new one out. If I was allergic, what would he have done? Never met an owner to be incredibly passive aggressive to a customer and offer no solution after being so apologetic. Horrible service and disgraceful behaviour, will not be returning back to a place where they make customers feel unwelcome and uncomfortable! I hope this behaviour changes.

My first visit and was not disappointed! Have heard such great things about this lovely quirky little place and it’s all true. Decor is amazing, service warm and friendly, cakes all looked really tempting, great choice of drinks and the menu looked really nice too, will be back to try more off of that! My choice was the blueberry lemon cake and it was delicious! Sadly there was someone with a young child there at the time of my visit and I totally appreciate this can’t be helped but let’s just say it wasn't the quietest chill time experience I was craving, this was the only let down, but not anyone’s fault, just bad timing I guess!
