The Olde Watermill

The Olde Watermill Shopping Village is set in and around an historic Watermill.

There has been a Watermill on the site since 1086 as the Watermill is mentioned in the Domesday book and it is one of the oldest overshot Watermills in the country.

Over the last few years, it has been lovingly restored and is now home to over 20 unique and individual shops as well as the Mill House Restaurant, Tea Room & Cafe, an antique centre, Miller’s Shopping Arcade and a soft play area for the children.

Took my grandaughter today and we had the loveliest day out. We had a look around the quaint shops, feed the fish, had a coffee sitting in the sunshine while looking at the fish. Then went to the Easter activity where we hopped and made a bag with the Easter bunny then had half hour on three bouncy castles. My grandaughter loved every moment of it and I loved how friendly and helpful every single staff member I interacted with was.
