Unfortunately served by an extremely rude young girl who spoke to me in a very unapproachable way (wasn’t even busy so can’t use that as an excuse) so decided to take my money elsewhere. I’m sure the food is lovely but perhaps the staff could take a few lessons in politeness if they’re working in customer service.
Had a lovely roast dinner thoroughly enjoyed it the chef cooked it lovely. The staffs were polite & with their service quick.we just like to say Thank you to all the staff as they were excellent:-)
Incredible Sunday roast. Went for the beef, but our party had a selection of all, and the feedback was the same. Highly recommend 🤩

My dad was visiting from Doha and he said he was craving a pub lunch. The first place I thought of was The Park. However I was a little nervous as I hadn’t been there in over a year. So for all I knew, the quality could have changed. I am pleased to say, it hasn’t! The atmosphere and cleanliness are still on point. The waitress we had (I really wish I got her name!) was friendly and attentive (despite being called skinny by my dad - So sorry about that). And the food just as delicious as I remember. I had the pork belly to start, the harissa chickpea and sweet potato tartlet for my main and the apple pie with biscoff crumb for dessert. All 10/10!!

We went for a Sunday roast with friends and family. The food was excellent. We ordered a Trio of meats roast and beef pie, both excellent taste and portions. The service was although slow, I think the staff struggled to cater to everyone as it can busy given it's popularity. Overall a good experience and would definitely recommend it's food

I’ve visited The Park Pub on Kimbolton Road a few times now and it always hits the right note for a relaxed lunch or casual dinner. The pub was beautifully refurbished in August last year, with a fresh, bright look and a lovely extended garden which is perfect for summer evenings.
On my latest visit I started with the pork belly bites, which were crispy yet melt-in-your-mouth, followed by their fish and chips special. Honestly, some of the best you’ll find in Bedford, with flaky fish and perfectly crisp batter. My partner went for the beetroot carpaccio from the light lunch menu, which was refreshingly light, vibrant and excellent value.
The service is friendly and efficient, and the staff genuinely seem to enjoy being there. Dogs are welcome both indoors and in the garden, which is a big plus. The drink menu is diverse too, with everything from craft beer and cask ales to fine wines and cocktails.
A couple of things to note: portions on some bar snacks can feel a bit small. One time the halloumi fries and kofta were tasty but not very filling. And while most visits have been smooth, occasional busy evenings can lead to slower service.
All told, if you're after classic pub food made with quality ingredients, a relaxed atmosphere and a welcoming team, The Park is a solid choice. We’ll definitely be back for another round of their fish and chips and a pint in the garden.
