Excellent helpful and friendly staff

Transition have serviced my e-bike annually by Russ for the last four years; costs have hardly changed and the service provided is consistently excellent. I really value being able to trust that my bike is safe and fully functional, and Russ has the answers to all my questions, every time.

Lovely place helped me get my stuck pedal off my bike no charge, very friendly, will have to go back and get some bits.

Excellent service from the friendly staff here. Russ sorted out a part I needed then managed to make time to do gear adjustment & new bar tape at short notice.

Last week, I brought my bicycle in needing a complicated repair. The back wheel had been completely bent out of shape, and to make things worse, this was on a hub gear bike. I had incorrectly thought I would need the whole wheel replaced, but they explained that they'd only need to replace the rim and spokes, but they would need to order some in that would fit my bike. I was informed about the options available to me, given an upfront estimate of how much I would pay in total and told how long it would take to order the parts and make the repair. They took my phone number and called to update me on progress and called again to when they had finished the work. Today, I picked up my bike and I am a happy customer. The staff at Transition are polite, friendly, efficient and professional. I feel like they respect me as a customer and want me to come back, which is the way things should be!

The team at Transitions have been absolutely great. I tend to pop in about once a week and they always make time to answer my questions and share their skills and experience. They carry good stock and don’t pressure you to spend unnecessarily. I had trouble with my bike setup, which was purchased from another retailer, and they have just serviced it and it is now running absolutely beautifully! Couldn’t be happier and thoroughly recommend them. Thank you!

Went in looking for e-bikes. Have to say all the staff in the shop over the two visits (one to buy one to collect) were helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. No pressure sale, just old fashioned honest opinions on the brands. If you’re in the market for bikes or servicing (we have also had bikes serviced) then look no further.

A great little bike shop in Bedford with decent prices and very friendly and helpful staff. I got my first puncture during a bike ride.
