We went this morning and had 2 chicken parm subs, they were delicious and also massive - we could only eat 1 half so took the rest home to have later. It was quite quiet but the staff were friendly and we got a student discount too.

Fantastic little place, located on a quiet street surrounded by little shops.
The place was almost packed during lunch but I was lucky to find a seat. The service was good and the wait time good too. The decor is clean simple with a great atmosphere thanks to the open kitchen showing everything in full transparency.
The panino i ordered was the Zio.
It was my first time here (although i have eaten from their mobile stalls often) and i was thoroughly impressed.
The panino was STACKED with meat, they really didnt skimp on it have earned a new hopefully regular customer. The veggies were tender, juicy and sweet, the bread with moist thanks to the sauce and excellent craftsmanship but still crispy and aromatic. The knife to hold the panino together is a must, but just eat it how it’s meant to be no need to be fancy.
Shoutout to Paco for the bread, definitely one of the best I’ve tried. I cannot recommend this enough and i will definitely be back.

I have come here many more times, im always impressed by the food here, very generous portions, incredible flavours, great service, very clean lavatory. The specials are unique and delicious.
The only panino i would not recommend is the Saltimbocca, not because it is bad but because everything else is so much more delicious.

They recently moved to the Riverside square, with a shift towards more casual and urban New York style which i dig. Menu has been compacted down, but what they offer is still amazing and of fantastic value thanks to the same Cibo bread that is still stuffed to the brim with amazing ingredients. The same friendly and amazing staff is still present so the change is not massively drastic.
The place specialises with take-away subs now but there is some seating available and a neat little (free to play) arcade machine for entertainment.
Nothing but compliments to the staff at Cibo and best of luck with their future!

Popped in to Cibo Italian Subs at 2c Riverside Square, Bedford this morning on the opening day at this location. Having been a regular at the 'Castle quarter' shop for some time I was keen to see if the Cibo team could replicate their previous success. And yes they certainly can, I had the My Cousin Vinny Sub which was superb with their trademark bread, fillings & flavours. would 100% recommend.

I’ve never experienced a toasted baguette of this caliber anywhere else lol! Initially, I thought my first visit was a fluke due to its exceptional taste, so I returned to confirm its consistency. I can confidently say it rivals the best this world has to offer 🤣 , this is truly the Harrods standard for baguettes and sandwiches. It is very expensive in my opinion, but the SUPREME quality justifies the price! This place is a must-visit for those seeking something beyond an average lunch in Bedford!
