Description

For over 40 years the team at Alan Brunker Opticians have been helping patients with a range of eye conditions. Our approach has always been to serve patients by providing a high quality treatment. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond the average practice. All our staff here, whether that is one of the optometrists or the receptionists, focus on providing long-term support to patients. We believe in an active relationship between patients and the practice as it allows us to better understand and help patients.

We are frequently updating our machinery to best serve our patients. Recently we purchased a £50,000 piece of equipment called an OCTR, which helps tremendously in identifying diseases early before they become unmanageable.

Only a few practices across the country have this piece of equipment. We also increasingly have been focusing on neglected areas in optometry such as low vision aids and children services that have been benefiting our patients greatly. There are just a few reasons why our practice has lasted so long as patients can really sense the quality of care and treatment.

I cannot recommend this optician highly enough. Mr B very professional patient and thorough with my test calmly reaching the point where my eyes are now and what was needed in my prescription. Frames and lenses wow! Ellie and colleagues helped me make the right choice! Ellie then managed the preparation and order of my new specs. She was brilliant! I have had to wear glasses since I was 2 and have had many years of needing eye care. I can’t remember having service as good as this. Exemplary and highly recommended!!!

Very impressed by Alan Brunker opticians. I had an extremely painful eye and they fitted me immediately that day for a check up. Turned out I had an eye ulcer from over use of my contact lenses which was horrendous. Mr Bhundia had all the necessary equipment to show me the ulcer on my eye and immediately referred me to Bedford hospital. They even called me a couple of days later to make sure that the hospital had been in touch with me to make sure I was having the appropriate treatment.

I came in for a check-up as a new customer and was treated very nicely by the staff. The optometrist I saw was friendly, happy to explain things to me in detail and made no attempt to push me into purchasing a pair of glasses after telling me I didn't need a pair. It couldn't have been a better experience!

Alan Brunker Opticians have been both helpful and professional in doing my eye test and fitting new lenses into my existing frames. When collecting my updated glasses, everything has been checked and the people I have seen have made sure that I'm happy with the fit. As the service has been good, I've since gone on to buy some new frames too and am awaiting collection. All in all, a really good experience. Thanks to everyone at Alan Brunker Opticians!
