Staff are very polite and welcoming, suite is a nice room, plenty of space, hotel and rooms are very clean. Breakfast is good, dinner in the restaurant was good, staff again very polite. Spa was a nice chill time. Good 2 night stay, have booked to come again in a few months, with the inclusion of visiting Anna's Tea Room for Afternoon Tea, as day of arrival, was fully booked, understandable and is mentioned to book 24 hours in advance. Can't say on parking, as we had taxi to and from. Overall, good break.

Massive disappointment for us. Booked this hotel for my wife and I as we were going through a tough time. We were looking for a nice hotel with a spa to unwind. We have stayed at many hotels with spa facilities but never experienced a stay where the spa facilities came at an extra cost (£40 for both of us for a mere hour) On top of this the spa was fully booked out for our stay with the exception of the earliest slot of our departure date. You don't stay somewhere as a retreat to get up early just to use the facilities. When I asked about the additional costs they said it was on the confirmation email which I would only have received AFTER I had booked. This should have been made clear at the start plus the need to book it in advance. Had we known we would have booked somewhere else as plenty of other hotels come with use of the spa as standard. As it was it messed up our break as although the hotel is in a nice location that alone doesn't warrant the price and as such we missed out on a better stay with better facilities. Massively disappointed. Buyer BEWARE.
