Disappointing Experience. AFTERNOON TEA Went for afternoon tea with a group of friends a few days ago and the service was awful and the staff were not very attentive or friendly. Firstly when we arrived, I asked the waitress if I can swap out some of the cakes from the traditional menu as I don't like them. She was really funny about it and I said it's fine if there's a price difference but the chef said I couldn't have two of the dark chocolate truffles in replacement of the pistachio macaroons. And I had to have something that I didn't like. (Banoffee tart) .. hate to think that if I was allergic that they'd force stuff on you. Then when the food came out, the pistachio item was changed out to chocolate and I could have had it anyway. Very frustrating. That's not all. My friends asked for milk for their English breakfast tea three times and i asked for a tap water three times. The milk arrived but my tap water never did. Also asked for a green tea but 100% it wasn't green tea. The scones were really hard and not soft. Very hard to cut them. Stingy on cream and jam. Waitress spilt my friends cappuccino when putting on the table. Didn't check on us very often for refills or to ask if all was okay. Do not recommend this place for Afternoon Tea. AVOID..

Afternoon tea 17.2.25 table booked for 12.45 did not get food until 2.10 after continually having to ask where it was. VERY slow service. I only had a ‘cheese’ scone which was not cheesy at all. Terrible service will never go back. Two staff working one girl good but still couldn’t get our food out.
