Cibo Italian Subs

As with many others I was disappointed to hear about the closure of Cibo's on Newnham street. However, this new spot brings with it a focus on delicious Italian subs, that more than makes up for the loss of it's predecessor. The chicken parm sub was delicious - huge flavours, perfectly cooked chicken. Others in my group had the veggie option and fiorentina which were also both great. Highly recommend!

I grew up in NY and lived right outside Philly for over 10 years, so I like to think I know a good sub when I taste one and these are REALLY GOOD subs. The Philly cheesesteak was better than any cheesesteak I ever had in Philly and I've been to all the famous spots. The meatball sub was also delicious, just the right mix of cheese and meatball. The only thing I might add is the option for a little side of extra marina, because I like a very saucy meatball sub. The sub roll I could probably just eat straight up, perfect exterior crunch but nice and soft inside. The shop was clean, the staff was very nice, and it's right next to the river, which is great because you can walk off the very full tummy you will have.

I was a really big fan of the old location but unfortunately with the new location I feel like the personality of Cibo is no longer there. I felt and saw that the old location had a bit of culture and a sense of pride but that is no longer visible in the new place. If anything the new place is a step up from subway.

Popped in for a Fat Toni, pancakes and coffee - first time visiting & thought, seems pricy but when the food came the value for money is there 100%. Food was delicious, excellent portion sizes and quality was outstanding. Coffee was perfect too. Highly recommended & we will be back.

Wooaw ! Definitely a must try !!

Just ordered via deliveroo and both my husband and I were really happy with the size and quality of the subs! Will definitely order from here again.
