One of my favourite cafes in Bedford. Such a lovely interior, staff, and food is very good. They make a very nice mocha

We headed to Nomad Cafe this morning to grab a cup of coffee and a bite to eat. We went for the breakfast option, which was Hungarian scrambled eggs with sausage and onion/pepper. We weren't really sure what to expect having never had it before, but it was a lovely scrambled egg style dish.
The service was great and the coffee was fab too.
The cafe has a great chilled vibe with plenty of seating and small sofa snug areas.
Can't wait to come back and try some lunch options.

This place is a fantastic hidden gem! Lovely, cosy atmosphere and the coffee and cake I had were delicious. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating and I highly recommend giving the big coffee chains a miss and coming here as Bedford needs more bespoke, original places!

If you want a place in the middle of town where you'll find peace and time for a little wind down time this is it. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and willing to help in any way, I came away feeling ready to face a busy town again. Thank you

I love this place. Food and drinks are always delicious and the staff are very welcoming. The coffee beats any other place around, with many different choices. The desserts are creative and very little is wasted.

Highly recommend this cafe. Very friendly staff, lovely food and it's always nice to try other countries specialities cooked well! We are so lucky to have the option in Bedford!
Very welcoming especially of my baby and they even gave him a free babycino without even being asked (after chekcijg he can have milk). Honestly, a lovely little touch.
Really nicely decorated. Would happily live here 🤣
Coffee is so good too!
Saturday lunchtime on a Summers days. No coke, diet coke, orange juice. Infact no drinks apart from hot drinks, apricot water or bottled water.
Food and desserts were the same, some were for display purposes only.
Ordered a salmon and avocado sandwich. Came with 4 tiny bits of salmon which didn't even measure to a finger width.
Tea came in a mug with the teabag still in it. Although a plate was provided for the teabag.
We ordered a cheese and tomato sandwich which the server/waiter/cook looked some what puzzled at me.
Lots of comfy sofas if you want a coffee and a natter. But if you want anything else. Then it maybe a struggle.
No atmosphere as we were the only ones in there.
All in all we went because if was recommended on fb. I'm afraid the experience was lacking for me.
In hindsight we should have just left and gone elsewhere.
It's a no from me.
Left to wait for 2 coffees more than half hour, unacceptable. Shame because is a nice location
