Roca was broadly okay. The lamb chops were tasty and well presented. The steak was however rather thin, and not very juicy. We chose a South African Cabernet / Shiraz wine which tasted fine, and didn't feel like bad value - but we would have liked to have the option of choosing something nicer.

Came here for a meal with friends. Firstly I will say the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, modern decor with comfortable seating and service was good. For starters, we ordered: Dynamite shrimp - 4 pieces of tempura type battered shrimp. Was crispy but not hugely impressed however the sauce was full of flavour and worked really well with the prawns. 7/10 Chicken lollipop - these are very small, basically the drum part of a wing turned lollipop. Was quite moist and well cooked but lacked in flavour however that dynamite sauce helped massively. 6/10 BBQ wings - these were well prepared but unfortunately not a great deal of bbq sauce/flavour on them. 4/10 Beef tacos - these were WHACK, minimal beef, lacking flavour, odd textures, the cheese I think made this really bad. 1/10 For my main I ordered the 10oz ribeye which came with mash, asparagus and mushroom sauce. Requested medium rare but came more medium (bordering medium well) this was a shame as it was quite tasty. 10oz is obviously not a large steak but this one looked particularly small; about half the eye and about a third of the cap seemed to be missing. Mash tasted quite nice but I prefer my mash a bit thicker with less lumps. Mushroom sauce was very watery, asparagus was very pleasant, very nice addition. Main I would score 6/10 Taking into consideration everything was quite reasonably priced, was a decent meal and a good evening. May return at some point to try some other dishes. Wouldn't highly recommend but worth a try.

Had a truly lovely meal last night. The ambiance and aesthetics of the place truly speak for themselves, with the tree being a particularly charming touch to the scenery. The appetisers were delicious, and the main courses (the prawn linguine and sirloin steak) were both thoroughly enjoyable. Everything arrived promptly and was still hot and fresh, which we really appreciated. Just wanted to add that the waitress who served us was super polite and recommend the halloumi which we enjoyed! In terms of pricing, we found the overall cost of the meal to be quite reasonable. The only slight downside was the price of the wine, with the rose spritzers coming in at £17.90 for two. But, considering the fantastic atmosphere, we still thought it was worth it. Overall, we were really impressed with our experience and are already planning our next visit with friends and family.
