The Danish Camp

The Danish Camp is a tranquil location where they serve freshly cooked meals most days of the week. Whether you visit just for the food, or as part of a longer walk, cycle or excursion on the river, they are certain to give you a walk welcome.

In addition to fantastic food and drink, The Danish Camp has a wide beam barge, “The Artful Dodger” which is available for regular or chartered trips on the River Great Ouse

A Christmas gift and craft fair was held. It was a lovely venue. Next to the river. Cafe/restaurant, indoor/outdoor bars. Good setting for an enjoyable time. Good walks along the river. Boats moored along the bank.

First visit in about 6 years. It's expanded a little but has not lost any of its charm. Sat on the banks of the river Ouse with ample seating inside and out. Numbered tables. Order at till and your food/drinks are brought to you. Very nicely cooked food. A little higher in price but then the quality and quantity is better than others I've had in the area. Recommended.
