Works Christmas party on 14/12/2024 Food was awful ! Salmon starter, a slice of smoked salmon spread out with a blob kf cream cheese and served with stale bread. Brought in tasteless turkey with frozen roast potatoes, swimming in gravy..... Cheese was old and dry around the edges served with 3 dry slices of dry bread, no butter. Partner had steak which was an additional £6. 2 small medallions smothered with sauce with loads of chips and a handful of dried old rocket. 2 glasses of red house wine cost £19.00. Awful worst Christmas dinner I have ever had ! We won't be having our works do there again ! AVOID !!

Hotel rooms are decent, clean, we had the river view room so its amazing to start the day with the view. Hotel has restaurant, or restaurant has hotel hard to say :), which serves very very very delicious food and the cocktails are great 👍🏻 you can even come only for breakfast, plates are abundant and tasty 😋

The best spot in Bedford! A cozy English-style restaurant with amazing food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for weekly meetups with friends or special occasions. Highly recommended

I celebrated my recent birthday with 14 friends for a Saturday lunch. Despite a busy resterant and a wedding in the room next door we had use of a quieter back room and one member of staff dedicated to our group. It was excellent, food lovely and service great. I would do this again!
