The White Hose, Bedford is a stylish, contemporary ,friendly put with welcoming staff and a rather splendid food and drinks menu which all add up to make your time with us well spent.
The White Horse is the ideal venue for catching up with friends & family, celebrating a special occasion or the perfect spot to pop out for a swift pint or 2 whilst walking the dog!

Our food style celebrates the best of the British Pub Menu, from Haddock & Chips supplied by our local fishmonger, a fully loaded burger or one of our delicious secret recipe chocolate brownies!

We have an excellent kitchen team who design & create our dishes in house and wherever possible we support local suppliers.

Bookings are always recommended especially at the weekends.

Excellent Sunday roast (Topside of Beef - 3 thick slices) with trimmings. Well cooked and tasty or not overcooked as in some venues. For me, the portions were just right but for others may want more potatoes and vegetables! Beer, Adnams, well kept as I would expect from Ghost Ship! Certainly call again!

The place is nice, decor ok, staff are friendly, ambience is fine, but the price of a single glass of wine is ridiculous. I visited and bought a pint and glass of Malbec and paid over £15. I didn’t even have the most expensive wine. They have a 250ml glass of red on their menu for over £13. We used to visit often, but can’t justify it anymore. Food menu is not great either. Bring back chilli please.
