Woodland Manor Hotel & Restaurant

We held our Yr 13 Valedictory Ball at the venue, the staff were attentive and food service was efficient and professional. The food was of a good quality and provided good value for money. The students all had a great time and were able to enjoy the setting and ambience.

We had a WONDERFUL afternoon tea! I can’t say thank you enough to the fantastic staff at Woodland Manor for hosting my Aunties and Mum’s afternoon tea Hen-do! The afternoon tea was fantastic, there were lots of beautifully prepared fresh sandwiches, scones and sweet treats and an enormous amount of tea. They allowed us to decorate the tables with our own decorations, catered fantastically to all our dietary requirements and requests, had an incredible accessible venue and a huge shout out to Sarah and Amy who throughout the lead up and the day made us feel very special. They have created such fanatic and special memories! Thank you again Woodland Manor, we can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful environment, nice place to relax away from home

Rooms and services are 10/10

We stayed for 2 nights recently the room was very good with nice view unfortunatly no lift so not easily accessible with 3 flights of stairs We ate in on our first night but as the dinner was not at all good decided to use local pub for dinner on our second Sorry to say unlike other guests we didn’t think the breakfast was at all great chef unable to cook soft poached eggs With the weather being so good we were able to use the lovely patio area which needed a good sweep The staff were all very helpfull but we wouldn’t return for another stay

Four stars only because the bar is rather clinical and unwelcoming and lunch service also a bit cafe-like. Without these two provisos it would easily be 5 stars. However, do not let this put you off staying at this lovely hotel. It is spotless. The food is good - especially breakfast. The staff very friendly and you get a PROPER key!

We held a family party at Woodlands Manor with family travelling from all over the UK, so the central location was ideal, especially as many of the family were able to stay overnight. Tiffany was very helpful throughout the planning process and we were able to arrange the evening buffet so that the Woodlands Manor provided the main course and our traditional family puddings and cakes formed the desert. Tables were also provided for family photos and family trees. My family also provided a string quartet and a band which the Manor accommodated with no trouble at all. The staff were all lovely and so helpful. We were very happy with the whole day, including the weather, which meant that we were able to spread into the enclosed gardens and it could be a lovely, relaxed, informal family occasion which everyone, young and old, thoroughly enjoyed. The only feedback I have was that the pickles and tomatoes ran out before everyone was served, although more was found in due course and the tea and coffee after the meal was a little late in arriving. However, overall, I would definitely recommend Woodlands Manor and would be very happy to come back for future similar events.

Myself and my son were working in Bedford and because the job ran over we decided to to stay in Bedford rather than the long Journey home. We went to woodlands manor and I can honestly say I’ve never been to a hotel that was so helpful,friendly and accommodating the food was great and the room was lovely. Absolutely 5 star service thanks again guys

We celebrated our wedding in the Woodland Manor Hotel on Saturday May 17th 2025. We cannot praise the team who looked after us enough. The room changes from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast and then the evening dancing were handled perfectly. The food for the wedding breakfast was superb. All our family and friends had a wonderful time.
